Chelsea legend Ruud Gullit says Roberto di Matteo must be given the job full-time.
Gullit was a popular player and successful manager during his days at Stamford Bridge. Indeed, it was during his managerial reign that the Blues recruited Di Matteo as a player from Lazio.
He told the Sunday Mirror: "Roberto must be appointed as manager of Chelsea permanently.
"He has done a terrific job in taking the club to the final of the FA Cup by knocking out rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
"And now on they're on the edge of reaching the Champions League Final at the expense of the best football team in the world in Barcelona.''
