Chelsea legend Didier Drogba was forced to flee rioting fans at the end of the derby between Galatasaray and Besiktas.
Hundreds of fans halted the Istanbul derby between Galatasaray and Besiktas after storming the pitch at Istanbul's Olympic Stadium on Sunday.
Police used teargas in an attempt to restrain fans who rushed on to the field after Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo was shown a red card, CNN Turk said.
Drogba had scored twice and Galatasaray were leading 2-1 in the third minute of added time when the match was halted, sending the players sprinting for the safety of the dressing rooms.
