Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has indicated that he may venture into the world of fashion after retiring from football.
The Chelsea and Ivory Coast football legend is the player-owner of American club Phoenix Rising and last week indicated that he could retire from professional football next year.
He has since joined forces with his friend, creative director Jordan Alexander, to launch JAD, which is a footwear fashion brand.
He said on Twitter: "This is a special day. I'm really excited to introduce my luxury brand JAD, in collaboration with my bro."
The JAD website states that its shoes represent "a true expression of heritage Italian design" and "particular focus is placed on the aggressive design and sleek curvature of exotic supercars and racing machines."
Drogba joined Chelsea in 2004 and had a successful spell with the club winning the Champions League, four Premier League titles, four FA Cup's and three League Cups.
