Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has praised Paul Pogba's decision to return to Manchester United two years ago.

Drogba has praised Pogba's decision to go back to Old Trafford four years after leaving for Juventus on a free transfer.

He says it would have been easier for the 25-year-old to join another club, but he instead chose to complete “unfinished business".

“He came back to Man United, he could have gone somewhere else," Drogba said on BBC One.

“It was unfinished business for him. To come back and want to prove that 'I can play here, I can be one of the best in that team and that's my favourite team'.

“So I think it was a big challenge for him."
