Drogba has watched them from afar having moved to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, however he has given them his seal of approval, admitting the new tactics are a source of great pride and entertainment.
He told the London Evening Standard: "They have started the season well, winning games and playing very good football.
"There's been a lot of new players and the older boys can help them adapt. It has been good and I am so pleased to see that.
"I really like Hazard. He is clever and doing a lot for the team. I've known him for a while now and the way he has adapted here is good."
