A late John Terry goal saw Chelsea grab a 1-0 win over Roma in the Champions League and go three points clear in Group A. The Italians defended in numbers at Stamford Bridge and restricted the home side to few chances.
Terry's goal came with 13 minutes remaining as he headed home a Frank Lampard corner.
Blues boss Luis Felipe Scolari told Sky Sports: "We have only the one more game in our home, so this victory was important and they play very well - good football. Its a tactical game.
"We maybe win this game because we make this goal. If they make the goal they win. In one game it is difficult to say we are the best, they are the best," he said.
As to the defensive nature of the match Scolari added: "I think it's still a beautiful game, but the result is only one-zero. The players touch the ball, they don't shoot, they pass. I expect this game, and the next game against Roma is the same."
