Chelsea are chasing exciting Real Betis youngster Dani Ceballos.

Blues scouts have been monitoring Ceballos' stunning progress this season and recommended his signing to football director Michael Emenalo.

The midfielder made his debut last season and has established himself as a first-choice this term.

Chelsea have been linked with a £6 million bid for Ceballos. However, AS says the youngster's buyout clause is significantly lower.

The Blues intend to buy Ceballos in January ahead of loaning him back to Betis for the remainder of the season.

The youngster has played 13 games this season, scoring one goal.
