Chelsea launching bid for Marseille winger Ayew

Chelsea have joined the interest for Olympique Marseille winger Andre Ayew.

The exciting Ghana international has been a long-term target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and has expressed an ambition of playing for the Gunners in the future.

However, Chelsea are now being linked with Ayew, who would arrive as a direct replacement for Florent Malouda.

Blues are willing to offer £10 million for Ayew in January, though l'OM's dramatic Champions League progress this week may stall their plans.
