In 1991 world best commenced mathus became the first player to claim the award, ronaldo became the youngest player to received the award.Since then BRAZI dominate world best why
Chelsea in the 2010 Summer Window
GK: Cech appears over his earlier difficulties however if he slips again expect a move for Neuer, Akinfeev (there was some talk not long ago about Akinfeev regardless of Cech's performance)
DEF: Most likely out, Ferreira, Belletti and Alex. Will be sad to see Alex go, he's a real asset, BM are sniffing around though and he will probably form part of a move for Ribery or Schweinsteiger. Likely arrivals appear to be Newcastle Utd's Steve Taylor and Neven Subotic, outside chances are Dani Alves and Juan Manuel Vargas, both would be quality signings though.
MID: Difficult, who gets let go of, and who should we chase. I'll break it down;
OUT: Deco
Malouda
Joe Cole (if he keeps whining about money)
Ballack (only if we can find an appropriate replacement, i know he has a lot of haters out there, but he is still a valuable asset)
IN: Franck Ribery: expensive only maybe worth it, competition from RM, Barca and his wife!
Bastian Schweinsteiger: ideally would replace Ballack but could also fairly well replace Deco
David Silva my personal favorite, would do better replacing Deco
Joao Moutinho: outsider but cheaper than Franck or David and undoubtedly skilled
Raul Meireles: would be on the 2nd tier of the midfield at Chelsea but if he can accept that useful with cool tats
Rafael van der Vaart: has never really shown his best at RM, would consequently be cheap, but the same problem could appear on London as in madrid
Angel di Maria: big competition for this guys signature and defunct if we get Franck, but no Ribery equals a must signing
Alan Dzagoev: not in the summer but in 2011 or 2012 he is a must signing, maybe the next Frank Lampard
Marek Hamsik: the current next Lampard, imagine Lampard and RVDV being replaced by Dzagoev and Hamsik (not mentioning Mellis)
Miralem Pjanic: better option than Dzagoev or Hamsik at present, younger cheaper and still with a great potential
Mata: could play anywhere in the front half of the park woudl work great with David Silva too
Milos Krasic: another Mata, but taller
Thiago Alcantara: a starlet from the Barcelona youth system, if Cesc returns he'll probably be looking to move, we should make sure its to Stamford Bridge
Gai Assulin: a starlet from the Barcelona youth system, if Cesc returns he'll probably be looking to move, we should make sure its to Stamford Bridge
Kaka: almost joined Chelsea in 2005, unhappy and unproductive at RM, Carlo is his old Milan coach, he's ageing but it would still be a massive coup
Jonathan Matías Urretaviscaya Luz 'Urreta': the next big thing out of Uruguay, currently at Benfice (well on loan to Penarol) would be a great signing for the future
Alex Teixeira: Shaktar Donetsk pulled off one of the big signings of the winter getting the Brazilian who had interested Chelsea and the Manchester's if he does alright in the Ukraine he should be brought to the Bridge asap.
FWD: Pato or Aguero, we need a young forward who is a proven scorer, Pato would be preferable due to the Ancelotti connection, but we've been consistently linked to Aguero…either would be fine and wouldn't be needed until Anelka goes, that could be this summer, I'd personally prefer next one though, so Pato/Aguero could have 12 months more at their respective clubs.
The all important 2nd/3rd Striker which we really lack at present, sell Kalou, though not to any EPL clubs, Barca were apparently interested in him not long ago, that would be fine. Villa would be great, imagine him up front with Drogba, El Nino would be better still given his age and PL experience but it really requires LFC not to qualify for the Champions League if we want him, we also have to fend off Citeh bids. Pazzini is also a possibilty but he seems more interested in Juve than Chelsea. Bafetimbi Gomis is also known as little Drogba, enough said. Nilmar is now starting for Brazil but is really only the 3rd striker at Villareal, he'd be easy to tempt away.
The youth striker. We already have Sturridge, Borini, Kakuta, di Santo and Miroslav Stoch for the future up front, add Pato or Aguero and the only thing missing is a Drogbalike, like Romelu Lukaku, he is killing in the Belgian league, he's only 16 he's 6ft 3 and his favorite team is Chelsea, he must come to the Bridge! We could also consider bring Iker Muniain or Isco to the Bridge, but they would probably force out di Santo (toss up).
