Jeffrey Bruma was thrilled to make his senior Chelsea debut in their 5-0 romp over Blackburn Rovers.
Centre-back Bruma, 17, thanked Carlo Ancelotti for getting his chance - and claimed he was snubbed by previous managers Avram Grant, Phil Scolari and Guus Hiddink.
Bruma, who joined from Feyenoord in 2007, said: "Carlo Ancelotti sent me on telling me to enjoy myself.
"He has a warm personality and always has time for the younger players.
"Since I've been in London I've seen managers who never said anything to the youth-team players."
