Chelsea are monitoring Real Madrid's Brazilian wonder kid Alipio.

Chelsea management are still angry over missing out on Alipio last year when he became available from Portugal's Rio Ave.

Alipio, 17, is already playing senior football with the Castilla, but intermediaries have alerted Chelsea to the news that he was offered to Benfica during negotiations for Angel di Maria.

The youngster has been likened to Ronaldo and remains highly thought of by Blues football chief Frank Arnesen.
