Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is ready to sign a new contract.
The Telegraph says Chelsea first offered Courtois a new five-year deal towards the end of last season while he was on loan at Atletico Madrid.
But the Belgium international refused to sign it until he was confident that he would be Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's first-choice keeper this season.
Courtois' new contract will more than double his £30,000-a-week wages and will include clauses that will see his pay increase further once he meets various targets and milestones.
With just two years remaining on his current deal, Chelsea want 22-year-old Courtois committed to the club until 2019.
