Chelsea goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon can't see St Etienne goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier moving to England.

Ruffier has been linked with Arsenal and Everton this year.

But Lollichon told France Football: "Ruffier is still a shot stopper with huge stops, a span beyond the average on his line, but no longer influential beyond his 5.50 meters.

"There are a lot of goalies like him, with a speed of movement and reflexes that impress, but who do not have a good reading of the game beyond their goal. The big clubs know it.

"Why deprive today yourself of an eleventh player with a good floor game? Football is no longer played at ten plus one! I'm not so surprised that he never had calls from England."
