Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech says manager Andre Villas-Boas deserves the season to prove himself.
Cech is backing owner Roman Abramovich's plan to stick with Portuguese coach Villas-Boas, 34, no matter what happens between now and May.
The Chelsea keeper said: "He has brought a different philosophy of football and he tries to do things his way. Now we need to wait until the end of the season and then judge - because I think there's a lot of potential here.
"We've shown that many times this season and that we can play good football. Hopefully, this will get even better."
