Chelsea keeper Cech remaining positive despite mistakes

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted to mistakes ion conceding the clubs last two goals in the Premier League.

The Czech Republic international handed Wigan Athletic a late leveler at the DW Stadium on Saturday as Jordi Gomez have the Latics a share of the points before missing Gareth Bale's cross as Emmanuel Adebayor put Tottenham ahead in last night's 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.

Cech knows he was in the wrong for both goals but is maintaining a positive outlook.

"Unfortunately, when the ball came in (against Spurs), I was a bit late and he tapped it in but it was a great cross, and I think I missed it by an inch," said Cech.

"Unfortunately, there was a goal in the last two minutes (at Wigan) where somebody went across and I couldn't see the ball and it fell to a player to tap in, which was a pity, but that's the way football goes sometimes."
