Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is ready to face Czech Republic teammate Pavel Nedved in tonight's Champions League clash with Juventus.
Cech, who plays his 200th game for the club tonight, told Chelsea's website: "I have never played Nedved as an opponent. I look forward to it, I have played with him for the national team a lot, and there is Zdenek Grygera as well, but when I played with my first team in the first division he was at Sparta Prague, so that is not so new for me, but never against Nedved.
"I have spoken to him and he is excited as well and wants to score against me. For them he is not the youngest player, and the only thing he is missing in his club career is a Champions League. He knows this can be another chance and doesn't want to waste it. There is a generation at Juventus that will be finishing soon, people like Alessandro Del Piero, and they will want to try their best to reach the Final again."
