Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech fears his error against Liverpool may have blown their title hopes. Cech was in no-man's-land as Raul Meireles netted the game's only goal - and was blamed afterwards by Stamford Bridge boss Carlo Ancelotti.
He said: "It was my mistake. The coach couldn't have said anything else.
"Mistakes are a part of football and you have to learn to live with them. I have now made my first of the season.
"United stumbled and so did Arsenal. We had a chance to reduce the deficit again and it's a pity we couldn't take it.
"It will still bother me for a while yet but these things happen."
Chelsea are 10 points off Manchester United but Cech said: "December is the main reason we're behind but something similar could happen to Manchester."
