Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has played down talk of a shock move to Arsenal.

Cech has been linked with the Gunners this week.

"It is an interesting novelty, but it's such speculation that I do not even think it is worth commenting. I know nothing, nobody has contacted me and, to be honest, I cannot even imagine it," Cech told isport.blesk.cz.

"I normally do not even bother with such rumours. But when it comes to me, I look at it, of course, to know what to say later. There are players who read the newspapers. Some players read match reports to know what is written about them and where. I do not do it, I do not read newspapers because of that.

"I do not take rumors like this seriously."
