Chelsea keeper Cech hails Zouma influence

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has hailed the form of Kurt Zouma.

The 20 year-old defender has impressed since breaking into the first team earlier this year.

Cech said: "Kurt is settling in well for a young boy coming from a different League. You need to get to know the players, expectations and the pressures that comes with playing at this level, at this club.

"He has been doing remarkably well every time he gets the nod from the manager. It's great to see and great to have the competition in all the places.

"No matter if you play Cahill, John Terry, Kurt or even Ivanovic in the middle, plus Azpilicueta in both full back positions, it's fantastic to have diversity like this.

"During the course of the season, you can see injuries and suspensions coming and you need the possibility to replace those players.

"His speed and especially the jump he does is unbelievable - you just see the height. As every game passes, he gets more experience and more used to the Premier League.

"You can see that his tactical awareness is really good now and everyone benefits whether he plays or not."
