Chelsea keeper Cech hails Mourinho's "attention to detail"

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has no doubt manager Jose Mourinho is one of the best when it comes to changing the momentum of a game.

Mourinho now has Chelsea humming after a slow season start.

Cech told the London Evening Standard: "I think every manager tries to make the decisions to improve the team at the time when they think the team needs something.

"But I think with all his experience and the way he sees football, he [Mourinho] knows when to interfere or interrupt the match at exactly the right moment.

"This is something you need but it's a gift that not everybody has. If he keeps doing that, it's even better for us. With him, we go into the game ready for every possible scenario. He doesn't have to explain to us what's going to happen at the time. When he makes the change, everybody knows what to do.

"The attention to detail during the week is such that you are prepared for every possibility and are ready for the changes that he makes.

"For example, at Norwich in the second half, it wasn't going the way we wanted and that's why when he made the substitutions, we knew what to do. The same with Cardiff. But you could see the moment we got the goal we wanted, we reorganised and continued."
