Chelsea keeper Cech confident goal around corner for Torres

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech feels Fernando Torres is settling well after victory at FC Copenhagen.

It was a confident performance from the Blues which saw Nicolas Anelka put in a fine display alongside a sharp-looking Torres.

"He played really well but it was not to be," Cech told chelseafc.com. "I hope he saved his goals for another day.

"He had very good movement. We played to him more and he created chances but most importantly he worked hard for the team and that's why we wanted him to play for us.

"Nicolas took his chances very well and that's what you need to do. His understanding with Fernando was brilliant, we had a lot of movement and it paid off. It's exactly what we needed."
