Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has spoken positively of his experiences with Carlo Ancelotti and former manager Jose Mourinho.
The two coaches are the longest Cech has played for.
"Before Chelsea, Carlo [Ancelotti] has been working in one of the top European teams and he won there many titles as a player and as a manager, and he has been working with top-class players," Cech told Chelsea TV.
"You have to be the best inside," he said. "You have to have the winning mentality in you and you don't have to show it to everybody while talking. You have to show it when you are working and when you are playing.
"It makes the difference when you have someone who understands how it is in a top team, how it is to work with some of the best players in the world and how to make everybody happy. It is important."
Moving back in time, Cech recalled his arrival at Chelsea in 2004.
"When I joined Jose Mourinho gave me the chance to be number one goalkeeper and he stuck with me during all his time over here.
"My previous club Rennes is a very good team in the French League but still you can't compare it to the Premier League and Chelsea is a top club. Working here with a top-class manager it was like a big welcome to big football.
"It was a big shock for everybody when Jose went but that is the way it works in football and we knew that life goes on. We needed to keep playing well and save the season for ourselves because you don't want to play a season for nothing.
"When you put the effort in you want to get some rewards for it. We really came together and we really worked hard to make something happen after a bad start and we were really unlucky not to get anything out of that season."
