The agent of Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin has reaffirmed the interest of Premier League clubs.

Uruguay international Godin has already declared this season that he fancies a move to Chelsea after seeing a proposed switch 12 months ago fall through.

His agent, Diego Heredia Triguero, told Calciomercato.com: "As I said, Godin is talked about a lot in England, there are clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal who are also quite careful about certain players.

"I've spoken a little to all of them. But real negotiations have not yet been launched."
