Chelsea have reportedly joined the race for Benfica defender Ezequiel Garay.
The 27-year old Argentine defender, who has already attracted interest from Inter Milan, is now a target for the Blues according to reports.
It is believed that Chelsea may move for Garay if Brazilian centre-back David Luiz agrees to leave Stamford Bridge for Benfica in the winter.
Luiz has been linked with a January departure and Jose Mourinho sees former Real Madrid man Garay as a possible replacement.
