Chelsea are looking to extend the contract of star striker Diego Costa.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Blues are intent on tying down the Spaniard beyond his current stay of 2019.
It is understood that as a reward for his brilliant recent form, Chelsea will offer Costa a two-year extension and subsequent pay rise which will see his weekly wages increase to £200,000.
The West London club, currently six points ahead on the Premier League table, want to keep the 28-year-old former Atletico Madrid star at least until the summer of 2021.
Costa has netted 13 goals in the Premier League this season and has been a model of consistency over the past two months, particularly from a disciplinary viewpoint.
