Chelsea are intensifying their interest in Olympique Marseille striker Loic Remy. Blues chiefs know manager Roberto di Matteo needs to find a new striker in January with his attack short of options.

Remy was scouted last month against Rennes and Blues scouts were again in the stands for OM's clash with PSG on the weekend to see the dynamic France striker in action.

Remy, 25, is excited about Chelsea's interest, knowing he missed out on a £15 million move to Stamford Bridge in the final week of the summer market.
