Chelsea insists they have had no official notification that Egypt winger Mohamed Salah is required to return to the country and perform military service.

The Blues are understood to have held talks with the 22-year-old over the emergence of reports suggesting he is set to be forced to go home for a minimum of 12 months, says the Mirror.

As things stand, he will travel with the club on Monday to a pre-season training camp in Austria.
