Chelsea could have a host of players off the injury list and back in training ahead of Sunday's Community Shield meeting with Manchester United at Wembley.
Six players who did not take part in Tuesday night's friendly victory against Brondby could be in contention for the Wembley game.
Chelsea assistant manager Steve Clarke told the club's official website: "We train next tomorrow morning and we expect Claude Makelele, Michael Essien, John Terry, hopefully Arjen Robben, Andriy Shevchenko and Lassana Diarra to be training.
"A lot of the players who missed last night will be back in training."
