Chelsea have jumped to the head of queue for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Marca says Chelsea are prepared to offer close to Roma's demands of £62million to sign the goalkeeper after holding initial discussions with the club this week.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are now set to miss out on the Brazilian, having already seen their lower offers for him rejected.
Madrid tabled a £35m offer earlier this month but it was immediately rebuffed with the Italian side holding out for much more.
Liverpool and the La Liga giants have made Alisson their No 1 target this summer but are reluctant to splash out on him.
The goalkeeper's preference is Madrid but it now looks like Chelsea will be his likeliest next destination.
