Sky Sports suggests that Chelsea are set to increase their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen's Andre Schurrle.
The Blues have been credited with interest in the 22-year old German striker in the past with heavy interest coming last summer but it appears they are more serious this time around with scouts sent to watch him in action recently.
Chelsea scouts watched Schurrle score in the 2-0 win over Schalke last weekend and it is believed the reigning European champions will make a big-money offer to Leverkusen in January.
