Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has lauded Blues fans for their loyalty.
Lampard, who is now with MLS club New York City FC, was taking questions from fans in a Q&A in a New York bar.
In response to the fan's question 'what he thought summed up a typical Chelsea fan?', he replied: '"From my personal experience, once you're part of Chelsea it's with you forever.
"I think they're loyal.
"I remember when I was playing at West Ham and at one stage they were probably booing about 5 players from our own team.
"I cant remember many of the players that our fans have stood there and booed. Torres having a difficult time, Shevchenko having a difficult time. Week after week the fans got behind them.
"There's a class about the club and I know sometimes people try to give Chelsea fans a bit of a bashing for certain reasons, and I'm always the first one to stand up."
