Chelsea have joined the scramble for Leicester City striker Islam Slimani.
Blues boss Antonio Conte has been linked with a host of frontmen over the past week as he attempts to bolster his attacking ranks.
And the Sunday Times says Chelsea have approached the Foxes to try and sign the Algerian on loan.
Slimani fits the bill of what Conte is looking for and would be eligible for the Champions League.
The 29-year-old cost Leicester £26.5m from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2016.
However, he has only scored eight goals in 25 top-flight appearances during his time at the King Power.
