Released Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is ready to sign for New York City FC. The Daily Star says Lampard is due to join Manchester City's franchise club for pre-season in January.
The 36-year-old plans to stay fit by training with Chelsea, who released him at the end of last season.
Lampard's decision also suggests he is going to call time with England.
