Didier Drogba has haunted Arsenal yet again with a brace of goals in the final of the Emirates Cup.
The former Chelsea man guided Turkish side Galatasaray to a 2-1 win with goals in the final 12 minutes after Theo Walcott had earlier scored for the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.
Drogba has made a habit of scoring against Arsenal over his career and continued that form by denying the North London side the chance to put their own cup back in the trophy cabinet.
Arsene Wenger felt that Arsenal's performance was positive despite the defeat: "Today we were in control, they didn't look dangerous, but we were not capable of maintaining physically that rhythm and control in the second half and we were punished for it. We were exhausted in the end, but it was a good preparation."
