Recent reports have suggested that Shanghai Shenhua are set to enter the 'final round' of talks with star striker Didier Drogba.
The Ivory Coast international has departed European champions Chelsea after a brilliant career in West London and is set to join the Chinese Super League club on a lucrative deal.
A report in the Shanghai Dail revealed that 'a top Shenhua official has left for the final round of negotiations to sign star striker Didier Drogba'.
The 34-year old has been linked with Shanghai for months but now it appears as though the move will actually go ahead with Drogba set to join former Blues pal Nicolas Anelka in Eastern China.
