Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with Shanghai Shenhua, it has been revealed. O Jogo says the deal is worth €12 million-a-year and will be confirmed in the coming hours.
Drogba's debut is slated for July 14 against Beijing Guoan.
The Ivorian icon chose Shanghai, despite receiving interest from Real Madrid, Anzhi, Marseille and Tottenham.
