Didier Drogba has made it clear that he has no intentions of leaving Shanghai Shenhua.

The 34-year old former Chelsea star has constantly been linked with an exit from the Chinese Super League club despite only joining from the Blues in June but he insists he is already looking forward to next season.

"I hope next season I can start again from the beginning with Shenhua," he told the Shanghai Morning Post.

Drogba, who has been heavily linked with a Premier League return, has netted eight goals in 11 matches for Shenhua since his arrival but the Shanghai outfit could only produce a ninth-place finish for the 2012 campaign.
