Didier Drogba told ChelseaTV that, despite scoring vital goals lately, a lack of regular first team football has affected his fitness levels. "Not yet, I think the most important thing for me is to be on the pitch and try to improve this lack of fitness," said the 30 year old Ivory Coast international.
"To score like I scored today (Portsmouth) is something of a bonus for me because I am focused on my fitness and I want to be ready for the last few important games.
"I enjoy being on the pitch, it has been a long time so I am really happy and try to enjoy every minute. Every time there is a new manager you want to show that you can play and be part of the team, that's what we are doing at the moment."
