Chelsea hero Ray Wilkins cannot see why a groundshare with QPR is not on the table.

Wilkins believes it might not be such a bad idea.

He told talkSPORT: "I personally don't think it would too bad a thing but again that will be a supporter issue as well and I think that's what Bruce [Buck] was thinking more of.

"The supporter does love his own ground. It would be like West Ham (United) sharing with Tottenham. It wouldn't really go down too well with West Ham fans.

"If it helps out from a financial perspective I really don't see where there is a problem. When I was at AC Milan they had their offices in town but shared [the San Siro] with Inter.

"OK, the pitch takes a bit of a thumping but the pitches now are so good that it could probably sustain that no problem."
