Chelsea hero Pat Nevin was delighted for Ruben Loftus-Cheek after his goal in their FA Cup win over Scunthorpe United.
It marked the youngster's first goal in senior football.
"Of course it was great to see Diego Costa terrorising defenders for the opener but there must be a special mention for Ruben Loftus-Cheek opening his account for the first team in a competitive match," Nevin wrote for chelseafc.com.
"His movement into position for his goal was exemplary - first getting into the danger area where you want your attacking midfielders to be, then being smart enough to move back into space and finally keeping his cool for a finish that was more difficult than he made it look."
