Chelsea hero Franck Leboeuf has played down the hype around N'Golo Kante.
Leboeuf insists Kante isn't up to being a midfield "boss".
Discussing France, he told RMC: "Should he start? Yes it's clear. Does he have the soul of a boss? I think not. He is an extraordinary soldier, a warrior, but has neither the personality nor the size of a leader.
"In Chelsea, among the stars, he is the indispensable man and (Antonio) Conte counts on him, but he's never made a boss. He does not have the game of a boss. This is not a Zizou. This boy is indispensable to Chelsea, but is not the boss, because he does not speak easily, he is a shy, he does not have the personality.
"Even technically, he's not a game leader. He's a guy who's going to win 800,000 balls a game."
