Chelsea fullback Paulo Ferreira hopes his performance for victory at Benfica gives him an extended first team run.

Ferreira will be hoping he has done enough to be given another chance to shine.

Admitting he tired before being substituted, he said: "I try to be in condition if the manager wants me.

"I did 80 minutes, which I think was good for the time that I've not played, so I'm really happy with that."
