Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly has rapped his former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello for keeping England's players in the dark over team selection.

Desailly, who won the World Cup with France in 1998, believes Capello is getting it wrong.

"These are experienced international players and should be told if they are starting," he said.

"Just name the team, let the players and the media know."
