Manchester United great Gary Neville has labelled the blame of recent run of poor results on the lack of preparation time between games.

The Sky Sports pundit thinks that Chelsea were the better side going forward in the 4-0 win at Stamford Bridge because Antonio Conte had more time at his disposal to work with his players.

He said: "Chelsea can have great confidence going forward. Antonio Conte has got time, Jose Mourinho hasn't.

"This is not comparing apples and apples, but Mourinho is rebounding off one game, three days later into another. That is completely different to having three weeks to prepare."

Neville also feels it will only bet harder for Jose Mourinho and his men with more and more matches to deal with in what is a very hectic schedule.

He added: "It feels like those Manchester United players will need a free week but they are not going to get it, because they have Manchester City coming to Old Trafford so they have another big game coming thick and fast."
