Chelsea are ready to release Charly Musonda for loan in January.

The London Evening Standard says they will consider sending Belgium Under-21 international Charly Musonda out on loan in January.

Musonda appeared to criticise the club on social media earlier this week about a lack of first-team football.

While the 20-year-old midfielder told club officials that Chelsea were not the intended target for his comments, he has been reprimanded.

Chelsea are planning to offer him a new contract.

But the club see the development of defender Andreas Christensen as the perfect example of how the youngster can improve while playing elsewhere.
