Chelsea are prepared to release Mohamed Salah for loan in January.
The Daily Star says Salah, 22, is out-of-favour this season with Blues boss Jose Mourinho preferring Eden Hazard, Oscar, Andre Schurrle and Willian.
Basel and Napoli are exploring the possibility of a loan deal for Salah, who joined Chelsea for £11m in January.
The Egyptian international has made just two Premier League appearances this season and was disappointing in the 2-1 Capital One Cup victory over League Two minnows Shrewsbury last month.
