Pat Nevin believes Chelsea's appointment of Antonio Conte is looking 'better and better' as each day passes.
The Blues landed the services of the 46-year-old in early April and after seeing his Italy team in action at Euro2016, former star Nevin is confident he will do a top notch job at Stamford Bridge.
"I've been stunningly impressed with Conte and how well structured and well organised Italy have been at the Euros," he told the Daily Star.
"It was a big and correct call to leave Mario Balotelli out, that's not what you need and he's a man that will make those big calls, it doesn't matter how big the name is, he'll make those calls.
"You really wouldn't want to cross him and considering what happened to Chelsea last year, I think they do need a strong individual.
"I thought it was a decent enough decision from the club when they announced it and now every day it looks a better and better and better decision."
