Chelsea great Hasselbaink to speak to Coventry

Coventry City are to begin talks with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink over the managerial position at the Ricoh Arena, according to reports from The Sun.

Coventry are currently looking to replace caretaker manager Mark Venus and now former Burton Albion boss Hasselbaink has emerged as a contender for the job.

Chelsea legend Hasselbaink is currently available after being sacked by Queens Park Rangers in November and reports have claimed that Coventry have begun talks with the Dutchman regarding the managerial role at the League One club.

However, they face a task in luring the former Dutch international back to coaching as it is said he is disillusioned following his stint at QPR, which involved being caught up in the Daily Telegraph sting.
