Didier Drogba was at it again for MLS club Montreal Impact on Wednesday night.
The veteran striker netted his fifth goal in his fifth outing for the Canadian club since arriving in late July in the 2-1 victory over Chicago Fire.
In the 39th minute, Chelsea legend Drogba managed to controversially wrestle free from the grasp of Fire defender Jeff Larentowicz to finish Nigel Reo-Coker's right-wing cross with a customary header to open the scoring for the Impact.
Chicago were able to level it up on 50 minutes through David Accam before the Ghanaian striker inexplicably missed when one-on-one with Impact gloveman Evan Bush.
It proved to be a very costly miss by Accam as Montreal swept into the lead in the 76th minute when Patrice Bernier played a neat through-ball for Andres Romero to slot home prior to Laurent Ciman's injury-time red card, which fortunately for the home team, did not affect the result.
Earlier, Drogba had forced a quality save from Jon Busch with a powerful 21st-minute header form Dilly Duka's dangerous cross as he helped guide Mauro Biello's side into sixth place on the Eastern Conference table.
