Ashley Cole has had his contract with AS Roma mutually terminated.
The veteran left-back joined the Giallorossi in July 2014 after finishing up with Chelsea but has now departed the capital club after making 16 appearances in all competitions.
The former Crystal Palace and Arsenal man played 11 times in Serie A and a further five times in the Coppa Italia and Champions League during his spell with the Italian outfit.
35-year-old Cole, who has 107 caps for England, continues to be heavily linked with a move to MLS giants LA Galaxy where he would join former Three Lions teammate Steven Gerrard.
Good luck @TheRealAC3. We wish you all the best in the future https://t.co/4IyMawT3eHpic.twitter.com/3cVTh3farx
